I'm trying to get my web app email service working with Windows Server 2008. It used to work with Windows Server 2003. My email reader app is supposed to read incoming email from \Inetput\mailroot\Queue\ but the outgoing email also goes into Queue\ for a few moments, so my email reader opens that too, which causes obvious problems. It seems outgoing email written to \inetpub\mailroot\Pickup\ also gets copied to Queue\ before it finally gets sent. Is there a way to disable putting outgoing email into Queue\ ? Other some other workaround? software developer
